In 1880, Joseph Drouhin, a young man from Chablis, came to Beaune, the heart of Burgundy’s wine culture, at the age of 22. Today, the family’s four generations have passed down the torch, and they now own 80 hectares of vineyards throughout Burgundy, with more than two-thirds being classified as Premier or Grand Cru vineyards. The winery treats all regional and village-level wines with equal care, upholding respect for nature by implementing organic and biodynamic methods. Since 2009, all the winery’s vineyards have been certified organic by the European Ecocert certification center. The Burgundy-C?te de Nuits Pinot Noir has a silky tannin, refreshing acidity. The alcohol content is 13.5%. It has a beautiful ruby color, lively and bright. It has a rich fruit aroma, typical of black cherry, wild blackberry, a hint of licorice, and the oak aroma is cleverly combined. The evolution of aging will increase the complexity of the aroma, before evoking the scent of mushrooms and earth, there are more spicy, nutmeg, and leather flavors. The tannins are strong, but not rough. The freshness and oiliness combine well, and the fruit flavor is still very clear in the mouth. Specifications: 750ml
